23:44 NATIONAL DAY PREVIEW!!! haha...i'm going to just type the entire entry in red though today's not the actual national day.well,i just went to the national day preview with routing and it was so fun!haha :) think we went a bittt late because the queue for the shuttle bus was realllly long.but we still manage to amuse ourselves while waiting for the buses to come back. it was a nice and clear day.no sun.no sunburns.hehe.me and rt were like lil kids opening their christmas presents as we ramage through the funpack.items are: -4 packs of drinks -a mini,powerful,handheld fan -a nokia 3250..................torchlight :( -many small packs of snacks -plastic clappers -flag -cap with a flag logo that can light up and many other more....... there's electrico who sang us 3 songs,kallang wave and the grand arrival of the RED LIONS!!!...of course there's the most exciting F-16 fighter jets that flew past the stadium!it was roaring and i just love the way i can feel the vibrations of the jets!!!there's also the Apache helicopter that flew after the jets...COOL!then we have the very neat contingents with the smart looking officers from SPF,RSN,RSAF,SCDF and many more...the performances were gd too (: but the FIREWORKS were even better!haha...so colourful and 'noisy'....HAHA.but the downside is the fact that i was showered with the ashes of the fireworks as we were seated right below them...suay.but never mind, i still had an enjoyable night after all. but something did happen just as we were making our way back home.we wanted to walk to kallang mrt station from the stadium and decided to use the best way:follow the crowd.btu i guess this was a badchoice for today.we ended up walking through this ulu alley that happen to be geylang lorong 8.at first we din notice anything weird though we did see some hotels...but as we walked further down,the hotels just started to pop out EVERYWHERE and we saw lots of sneaky looking men loitering around the streets...u get what i mean...at that moment i was so envious of the girl in front of us who had her bf to protect her while we 2 young girls had to depend on ourselves.we got a bit scared and started to walk faster,passing by many men who were there with a reason we all knew so well...luckily we finally got to the main street and far away fromt the dark and errie alley...really scared us,though we knew there were others(not many) who were on their way home from ndp and we wun just get abducted from the streets or anything.but it just scared us anyway.didnt want to think what may happen.too terrible to think so it.luckily we still got home safely... 20:39 looks like there has been lots of limelight focusing on the school these few days.i dont know if i should making these comments in case people who are just fishing around for information to put it somewhere else reads them.oh wells.i'll just shoot. seriously,i don't really think there is really that big an issue to make about the length of the skirts of girls in school.it just represent that small proportion of girls who wishes to make themselves look cool and 'hip'.sometimes when i see these girls(mostly the j1s,i dont know why too) with the skirts so short that i just felt so ashamed for them.like what kind of message are they trying to make to the guys?are they so desperate for all those kind of wrong attention?another thing is that if you want to have short skirts,first you must really fulfil the citeria of having nice legs la.it is really unbearable at times seeing some not very slim legs under those short skirts.really gross.not that i am biased or anything,but i felt that most of the short skirts i see are mostly of the j1's than the j2's.not that j2s din have,but the j1s really have MORE SHORTER skirts than those of the year 2s.from what me and rt have observed,it seems like the j1s had their skirts altered to those 'shorties' right after they bought it.there is not 'gradual' process.instead they just went from long to mini.really atrocious.even ____ had agreed with us.haiz.i doubt those checks would do anything to help savage the situation.it's like i still see lots of short skirts even after a week mrs chan had raised this issue openly.the girls really dont know how to reflect is it.cant stand it. still even if this is a problem in our school,i think many other jcs(shall not name names) do face this very same problem as us.and their skirts are even shorter than ours,according to my guys classmates.in comparison,ours are like ankle length and 'theirs' are like minis.so,still want to compare? seriously,(you-know-who-you-are) dont come and focus on vj as if we are the only school with this short skirts issue.shoo off!just back off,you privacy-invader.pot calling the kettle black. today is such a short day.2 periods of GP and pe.end of school.went to catch POTC with jq,sheenyee,rt.the movie was hilarious but it ended with the story hanging there,just as what the others had told us.cant wait for the last sequel. :D Friday, July 21, 2006
22:25 I'M FEELING SO HIGH!!! it has been so long since i enjoyed myself...today's racial harmony day and me,ys and jq decided to be enthu and wear enthic costumes.den i wore the indian costume;not e sari but the other one with the pants...it's like the whole class only we 3 girls and waikin wore enthic costumes..haha:) later we played captain's ball as a whole class during e.super fun!!!the guys were like 'thundering' to each other the whole time...haha...but their long-range shots like a bit too far for us to catch..haha. we were just so jealous of audrey.cos she's e captain of e opposing team and all she did when she catches the ball is to stretch her hand out CASUALLY and there!easily and effortless the ball is caught by her... and while on the other side,ME had to stretch and tell myself that my hand can be like the mrs incredible and stretch very long....but still cant even touch the ball with my fingertips :( so unfair... went to waikin's hse to 'look arnd' after we had nice & cheap fish n chips :D yumyum... his (bro's) apartment is really damn cool and nice la....totally like a hotel like tt.nv bluff u.even e key slot is those card slots used in hotels...we played some lame game and had to drink water as forfeit...had an enjoyable time dere...if only i got money to live those kind of places..haha... today tired to study today liao...tmr den do it la.boring. 09:17 actually i wanted to come online ytd to update after i finished reading my magazines,but it seems like i was too tired as i was falling asleep whike reading so i decided to go to bed at 11pm on a friday night.wasted. went to watch superman with rt on wed.i thought it was okay la plus a bit draggy at parts of the film....but on the whole still not bad loh and now i'm waiting to go watch POTC.haha. shall work v hard now la.only left like 6 weeks to prelims.haiz.scary. :( Monday, July 10, 2006
20:15 so irritated that france lost la...but at least not as cham as jiahao who even lost money.haha.and i seriously cant imagaine wat zidane was thinking when he head-butted the italian guy.i think maybe he wanted to try and feel what is it to be like to be a rhino. -__- luckily mrs chan was nice enuff today to release the whole sch at 1245 so we could go home and catch some sleep or else i think i will just knock off at mechanics lect... (: my results for this term CTs suck la.and i'll sure get nagged at when the result slip gets back.how?????like all the subjects deproved leh.v scared now that prelims is coming...haiz. :( the sch's webpg stuff very sucky la.i'm like having problems updating my cip stuff...heck la.frustrated liao. 16:34 hmm...think i'll stick with this blogskin temporarily.cos i cant seem to put e archives in...nvm.e picture is nice though (: just went out with my mum n siblings just now.very long nv go out with my mummy alr cos we're both busy la...den went for the free dental checkup at tm and the dentist recommended me to go put braces.but let's wait till i got money first den say la..haha.den we had lunch outside and i ate mutton soup!!!yeah,cos i haven been eating tt since dunno when.actually in the first place i wanted to eat laksa but when i walked past the coffeeshop,e aroma of the mutton soup just pulle dme over la:D haha.i'm just so fickle-minded la... |
